After graduating from The University of Oregon in 1993, I have enjoyed a diverse design and construction resume. During a five year stint at Hodgetts + Fung Design Associates in Culver City I worked on the renovation and remodel of the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood for three years. I also designed and managed the advertisement office Kovell Kresser and Partners. Other projects included the Student Pavilion at the Art Center and a World Savings branch bank in Alhambra.
In 2002 I took a position with George Yu Architects in Los Angeles. I was hired to oversee the design and rollout of the Max Studio stores. In three years we designed and built twenty-four stores through out the United States. Responsibilities included design, project management, client and landlord relations, and construction administration. While at George's office I also oversaw the design and construction of Shaya in the Beverly Center.
In 2005 I opened LAND to encompass all of my design and development interests. My current projects range from residential to retail and commercial. I have also contract directly with Max Studio to act as their Retail Development Director on a per store basis. This year we are rolling out three stores: Copley Place in Boston, The Citadel Outlet remodel, and a new store in Westfield Topanga in Canoga Park.
